Components of Architecture photography
1 The use of specialized Nikon architecture lens enables our camera to see the architecture the same way the human eye would view the property.
2 Shooting with the correct light angle.
Just as with portrait photography the angle and color, of the ambient light can make or break a photo. We shoot in the softer, more flattering, evening and morning lights.
The lights striking the side; rather than from above; as in the “Lunch Time” shots favored by real estate agents, can enhance the form of the building.
The softer, more golden, morning and evening light color brings out the details of the structure.
The time of day we shoot is determined by the direction the property faces. i.e… if the building faces west ; it should be shot in the evening.
3 Over – laid shots are combined in Photoshop . The combination of shots taken by the camera on a tri-pod gives the correct exposure to the views through the windows / doors, while retaining the correct interior exposure. i.e… No more whited out windows. The interior rooms appear as they would be viewed by a customer.
4 We use Photoshop’s Transform tool to adjust all shots so that the vertical and horizontal lines are correct. No more skewed or distorted pictures.
5 Using Photoshop we can combine multiple photos into a seamless large picture. We remove unsightly cords, and other small blips from the picture while retaining all the important aspects.
6 We use specialized lighting to shoot interiors.
7 Years of experience allow us to arrange the furnishing to have the best camera appeal. And yes we return everything to how it was.
8. We color correct / enhance the photo to have optimal color for both print and web.
9. We provide layout to produce your desired output. Whether for a website, virtual tour, slide show, print ad, or complete brochure.
10 Your photos are burned on a DVD in Jpg for Web, Psd for Print both in RGB and CYMK.
